We were pleased to invite delegates to attend a six-part programme aimed at developing Managers/Supervisors, HR professionals and those with an interest in people management. Our HR Academy programme consists of six morning seminars running monthly starting on 10 January 2017 through to June 2017, covering a multitude of HR topics including a Mock Employment Tribunal in the forth seminar scheduled in April 2017.

As a delegate you are given the chance to follow a ‘soap opera' style story of three employees and their managers throughout the 6 part programme, learning the common mistakes that can be made when managing people, we provide hints and tips on how best to avoid them.

It is an ideal learning and development tool for those at the start of their HR or people management career, but also really useful for those with experience as we debate the different styles and habits we pick up throughout our careers.

The seminar schedule is as follows:

Session 1 – Managing the Capability Procedure - 10 January 2017

Session 2 – Conducting Investigations - 07 February 2017

Session 3 – Conducting Disciplinaries and Appeals - 14 March 2017

Session 4 – Employment Tribunals - 18 April 2017

Session 5 – Handling Grievances and Mediation Skills - 02 May 2017

Session 6 – Managing the Redundancy Process - 13 June 2017


Each session runs on a Tuesday morning between 09:00 – 12:00 and is available to book individually for just £29.95 + VAT per session. There will be opportunity to network with other delegates and Tea, Coffee and snacks are included in the cost of the seminar.

However, if you join our HR Academy and book on all six seminars we can offer a special rate of just £149.75, therefore your sixth seminar is free as you pay for just five. Contact the RBHR team for details.
