It’s an exciting time to be joining our business, having moved into our brand-new offices in the summer due to a record-breaking year in terms of financial performance, and grown significantly through investing in key talent to support our business with continued expansion.
We have a unique opportunity for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our Resourcing team based in Yeovil. In what will be a varied role, you will primarily be responsible for supporting the management of various recruitment projects on behalf of a number of our key clients. This is a perfect opportunity to allow you to gain significant exposure to a wide variety of duties including:
- Reviewing candidate applications against defined role-specific criteria
- Coordinating interviews with candidates on behalf of various clients
- Conducting telephone interviews, scoring them and accurately recording results
- Facilitating and assessing during selection processes including interview and assessment centres
- Keeping candidates and clients well informed through recruitment processes
- Proactive candidate sourcing via a number of different channels (such as job boards, LinkedIn)
You will support the Resourcing Manager and Resourcing Consultant in developing the Resourcing offering through liaising with clients where necessary to better understand their recruitment and selection needs. In addition, you will ensure that all records are maintained accurately, that systems are updated developed as required (both internal and client) and produce reports/management information for both clients and our business.
But that’s not all! You will assist the wider business (including the Managing Director, Training, HR Consultancy and Project teams) with ad-hoc administrative support as required. So, whether it’s typing documents and letters, general office administration or assisting with disciplinaries, grievance or appeals processes both internally and externally in a HR representative capacity, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to learn a variety of skills in a busy and fast-paced environment, gaining exposure to further develop your skills and experience.
In an ideal world, you will have some previous experience in a Recruitment/Resourcing capacity with an understanding of the recruitment process and legislation surrounding it. We would like you to have a genuine interest in the field and a desire to progress a career within the profession. In time, there could be an opportunity to obtain either a CIPD qualification or accredited recruitment qualification.
You will need to be a flexible, adaptable team player, willing to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in to contribute to the wider success of the business. Training will be provided; however, you will be expected to work under minimum supervision in time. Taking into consideration the nature of our business, you will be required to act friendly, professionally and maintain confidentially at all times.
